Dr Jane Buschkens has been a Registered Psychologist since 2005. She has completed a PhD in Psychology with a research focus on the effects of chronic stress on wellbeing and circadian rhythms. She has a particular interest in brain-based therapies and takes a neurobiological approach to promoting wellness.
She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), the International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy (IACN), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), the EMDR Association of Australia, the International Association of Applied Neuroscience and the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia (ANSA).
Jane is a mother of three who has lived in the Cairns region for more than 40years. She practices in Cairns.
Jane works with both adults and young people across a broad range of psychological needs. She is passionate about helping people minimise their distress, enhance their satisfaction with life and realise their potential.
